| i wish i had a journal with me. instead, i've been writing in the same notebook as my sermon notes.
Kyrgyzstan is beautiful. the mountains are beautiful. the scenery is beautiful. the weather is beautiful. what's not beautiful is the giant air force base in the middle of it.
we leave tomorrow for helmand province. but from what i hear is that it's really crowded at Camp Bastion (where we're going to be for a few weeks). it's already crowded here at Manas, units have been flying in for the past couple of days getting ready to fly into Afghanistan.
